WELCOME

Literary Magic is a promoter of reading and writing: to help readers and authors connect, aid in book club selections, sharpen writing skills and encourage the individual creative spirit. Click around and you'll find a wealth of resources.

SHARE

In addition to being able to tweet any post with the click of the tweet button topping each of my posts, below each post you'll see several symbols like those shown here.

Each symbol provides a path through which my blog can grow and thereby promote the participants and content of my blog. This is part of the magic and I need your help to make it happen. At the bottom of each of my blog posts you can click on any of these "magic" symbols to add my post to any of the sites they represent and help the coverage grow exponentially.

First, what do they mean?

Delicious

Delicious is a social bookmarking web service offering an online home for your bookmarks. From any computer you can access the bookmarks you make with it. It's a super handy tool for keeping track of your favorite sites, and of course it will help increase traffic to my blog.  If you like it, click to bookmark it.

RSS

RSS stands for Rich Site Summary is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it. With a click on RSS you can easily stay informed of any new postings on this blog.

Technorati

is a search engine exclusively for blogs. When you like a blog, click to record it as one of your Technorati “favorites.” How many times a blog has been favored determines its Technorati “authority,” the rough equivalent of Google’s pagerank.

StumbleUpon

is a fun way to personalize your surfing experience. Shuffling through the sites that are indexed on StumbleUpon, the user rates the site as like or dislike and then the next time they visit they will be treated to sites with similar content. Clicking on this icon will add my blog to your own StumbleUpon experience and rank it higher in the engines for others to stumble upon.

Digg

is similar to STupmbleUpon. It's a content-sharing website that posts articles and stories by popularity. Stories are voted up or down by other Digg users. If you like it, Digg it – i.e. click the logo and submit it.

Bottom line: If you like a post, click one or more of these icons and sign in to share. Help extend the reach of Literary Magic and help my guests, the authors I interview, my followers...everyone I'm networked with....to gain more visibility with just a click.

Thank You,
Lee Libro

P.S. There will be several more "magic" symbols added as I progress with this blog. Feel free to click on any of them to bookmark a page and help spread the magic.
